2025 saw the birth of New American Ensemble: our first act. 2026 is Act II.
Act II of our journey is our two-show 2026 season, which begins with our next production: Anton Chekhov’s Ivanov. This play marks a decisive step forward for New American Ensemble. Ivanov was Chekhov’s first completed work, a story that grapples with the challenging question, “Who am I when I lose myself?”
To stage Ivanov with the rigor and depth it requires, we are looking to partner with patrons willing to make the choice history has always demanded: to create the conditions that allow great art to exist.
