Spencer Murphy he/him

Spencer Murphy is a producer, bassist, and consultant. Live and studio credits include: Nick Hakim, Gabriel Garzon-Montano, Onyx Collective, Morgan James, Anthony Roth Costanzo, Justin Vivian Bond, the New York Philharmonic, and broadway shows Boop! and Moulin Rouge, among many others. In the last five years, he has produced three albums for trumpet maven Adam O’Farrill, Bartees Strange’s debut EP Say Goodbye to Pretty Boy, a telethon for Cyndi Lauper, and commercial music that has been licensed by the likes of Google, Nike, The NFL, Banana Republic, and Splice. Further work in education, programming, and grantsmaking has led to a rich career in operations and development consulting for artists and arts-adjacent businesses.
